This is a medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is a combination of two medicines that helps to control blood pressure when single medication is not effective. It also helps to reduce chances of future heart attack and stroke. This medicine should be used along with proper diet, salt restriction, and regular exercise for best results. It should be taken regularly at a fixed time every day. This medicine should not be stopped abruptly as it may result in sudden increase of blood pressure. You may experience mild dizziness initially while taking this medicine, but this improves with time. Swelling of the ankle may occur in some patients as a side effect. "
